The Town Fair Tire Scholarship Fund was established in partnership with the Town Fair Tire Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the regional tire retailer, Town Fair Tire. The Town Fair Tire Foundation is dedicated to uplifting the communities it serves by supporting nonprofit organizations and programs that promote self-reliance, economic and social advancement, and improved quality of life.
Town Fair Tire, a New England–grown tire retailer founded in 1967, opened its first store in Fairfield, Connecticut and today serves customers across New England and New York. The company has steadily expanded while maintaining its community focus. Through the Town Fair Tire Foundation, the company supports education and career pathways across the region, including initiatives that help students pursue technical and trade school programs.
Awards from the Town Fair Tire Scholarship Fund are based on financial need, after which recipients are requested to be students pursuing a career aligned with the Foundation’s purpose. Those include studies in automotive technology, engineering, business, and other skilled trades that lead to stable, meaningful employment and community contribution.
