Alice Booker Smith was Emery Booker’s cousin. As a result of her relationship with Marion McKenney and Emery Booker, Alice had a strong desire to assist the Brunswick Area Student Aid Fund. Monies to establish this fund were bequeathed to BASAF in Alice Booker Smith’s will.
