Emile “Pinky” & Adrienne Bouchard Memorial Fund

Emile “Pinky” Bouchard was born in 1908 in Brunswick and attended Brunswick schools. Adrienne Binette was born in 1906 in Coaticook, Quebec, and moved to Lewiston when she was young.

In 1935, Emile and Adrienne were married. During World War II, Emile served in the U.S. Navy.  Together, Emile and Adrienne owned and operated Brunswick Cleaners for 20 years. Emile also owned The Men’s Shop during the late 1940’s and early 1950’s. Later, he operated Bouchard’s Barn Antiques and Used Furniture. Emile was a coin collector and real estate broker.

Adrienne passed away in 1990 and Emile died in 1993. After Emile’s death, his Estate’s Trustees (Henry Bouchard, Lena Fluet and Ronald Fluet) made the decision to establish this fund with BASAF, which was at the time the largest single gift made to BASAF with the exception of the McKenney Booker Education Trust.
